Excited to share a summery and romantic conscious edit with you today!
The very first brand spotlight I published on the blog was on my favorite sustainable fashion brand, Reformation. So I'm sure it's no surprise that I've included this beautiful number here from the brand. I've gotten numerous compliments on this Reformation blush pink maxi dress! It is so figure-flattering, and I love the leg action you get with the high slit. As I've mentioned before, the brand's RefScale tracks eco-impact numbers from your Reformation purchase compared to alternative purchases based on US fashion industry standards. From purchasing this dress vs. other similar dresses, I've saved 26 lbs of CO2, 1,619 gallons of water, and 1.8 lbs of waste. How cool is that?!
This Ellen & James bamboo ark bag is inspired by the popular Cult Gaia ark bag that you've probably been seeing everywhere lately (especially on Instagram). I opted to purchase this similar style from Ellen & James, due to the fact that each item is ethically made by artisans in a small village in the East of Bali, known for their quality craftsmanship. I totally geeked out after learning that Ellen & James promotes fair trade by directly purchasing the products from the artisans! Check out some of my other favorite items from the brand here and here.
Check out the cost breakdown of some of these pieces on my #30 Wears Challenge page! Thanks for visiting, and hope you enjoyed today's edit :)
Note: A * next to the brand name indicates that it is a conscious brand.
