A Classic Reinvented | Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II

Happy Thursday!

Sharing a casual look today, featuring my new 'Chuck IIs.'

Although you'll usually see me wearing boots or sandals on any given day, I do appreciate a comfortable and stylish pair of sneakers. In fact, way back in high school, I had more sneakers than boots, heels, and flats combined! I definitely have less sneakers now, but I still love wearing them to this day.

I was intrigued when I heard that Converse came out with a new version of their classic Chuck Taylor All Stars, so I went to try them on at the mall. The minute I tried on a pair of these Chuck II low tops, I knew they were going to be my new favorite pair of sneakers. They were so comfortable!

The Chuck II has the same iconic features as the original, but they have received a few noteworthy upgrades. The highlights include a microsuede shoe lining, a non-slip tongue, and a removable Nike Lunarlon insole cushioning for increased comfort. If you're looking for an extremely comfortable pair of sneakers, I highly recommend the Chuck IIs!

To complete this effortless and casual outfit, I wore my favorite v-neck white tee and tied a burgundy flannel shirt around my waist. The flannel shirt is a great layering piece, especially when you know it'll get a bit chilly as the day progresses. I've included a few of my current favorite flannel shirts in the "Get the Look" section below.

Have any of you tried or own the Chuck IIs? If so, I'd love to hear what you think of them!

Thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed today's casual outfit post. :)
