Happy Thursday, everyone!
Sharing what I wore to a birthday brunch with Christine from Trend Envy (including what we ate :)!
I met up with Christine to celebrate her birthday over a yummy brunch at an Asian Fusion restaurant called Surisan in San Francisco. This spot has been on my to-try list for months, and the food did not disappoint! We got the country breakfast benedict and poached eggs, blueberry stuffed crunch french toast, scrambled eggs and millionaire's bacon. Everything was so flavorful and satisfying. I'll definitely be back to try a couple of their other brunch menu items, such as the K tacos and the loco moco.
For the occasion, I wore a sleeveless fringed top from Zara, a faux leather red skirt by Fashion Union, a structured handle crossbody bag from MANGO, cuffed sandals from Bebe, and my new favorite style piece - a BlankNYC suede moto jacket.
This jacket is a bit pricey, but I find that investing in high-quality style pieces pays off in the long run, if you wear it often enough. I've undoubtedly got my money's worth, as I've been wearing it non-stop! The suede fabric is incredibly soft and the wide notched collar gives it a structured look. It comes with a removable waist-belt, and comes in so many other colors and styles! I opted for this coffee bean color for versatile styling and wear, but I also have my eye on this floral embroidered faux leather option and this velvet moto option.
