My cousin recently got married in September at a beautiful wedding venue called Calamigos Ranch. It's tucked away in the mountains of Malibu Wine Country and is one of the most beautiful venues I've ever been to! I was struggling to find something to wear to this special occasion and was lucky to find this beautiful Lulu's sage green high-low dress, just a few days before the wedding.
My family and I stopped by Bumsan Organic Milk Bar in LA's Koreatown to get our soft serve fix before heading to Malibu, which is where we took these photos. Quick note: I'm wearing sandals in these first initial photos, but I changed into a pair of white sandal wedges before heading to the venue. :)
With ruffled sleeves, a lace-up neckline, and a high-low skirt cut, I couldn't ask for a better wedding guest dress. I thought the muted sage green leaf print was perfect for the outdoor ranch wedding setting.
I was a little nervous about the dress not fitting properly since the product page description mentioned that it had no elasticity at the waistline, but it fit perfectly when I tried it on for the first time. I actually loved how fitted it was, since I didn't have the issue of extra fabric around the waist, like I've had with some dresses I've bought in the past.
I brought along my vintage-inspired Steamline Luggage sweetheart vanity bag to wear to the wedding. I absolutely adore this luggage-style bag! It has such a romantic look to it and is lined with a pretty green and pink floral pattern on the inside. I love the vintage handcrafted look and the abundance of space on the inside. It even has a number-lock to secure all of your essentials!
My family and I were in awe when we got to Calamigos Ranch. There were gorgeous chandeliers and lights hanging from the trees and a mini waterfall in the outdoor space where the wedding reception took place. It was such a beautiful sight to see how happy my cousin and his now wife were as they walked down the aisle on their wedding day. It was a joyous event for all of us as we celebrated the beginning of the happy couple's marriage.
