Today I’m doing a review on True & Co, a lingerie brand that provides personalized results for your best fit!
True & Co claims to make better bras and lingerie that are inspired by feedback from women all over the world. As of 2018, they’ve collected 6 years worth of data from 7 million women and have a collection of over 400K reviews and comments about their bras and fits. True & Co recently contacted me to try a few pieces from their collection. A couple of my friends who’ve tried True & Co’s bras have told me that the pieces are pretty comfortable, so I decided to try them out for myself and share my review with you here!
True & Co has a unique Fit Quiz that helps you figure out what your best fitting bras would be from their line. Although I know my best fitting cup size is usually a 32C, I decided to take the quiz since it was going to be my first time trying out their bras. The quiz asks you questions about your shoulder straps, chest shape, padding and color preferences, and clothing size. It also offers bra fit tips as you answer the questions, and provides interesting stats at the end. Note: Once you go through the quiz, you do need to give them your email address and create an account to see your top 3 fitting bras.
My personalized bra results told me that I’m a 32C with breasts that are more rounded at the bottom, and that 16% of women also have a similar breast shape and size, according to their data. It then listed my top 3 fitting bras from their collection as well as additional styles made to fit my shape.
Below were my top fitting bras, according to the quiz results:
Given that I often wear v-neck tops as opposed to scoop-neck tops, I opted to try their V-Neck Bra (which is also their best-seller and was listed as an additional recommended style to try) and black v-neck Racerback Tank with a built-in bra. True & Co also sent me the Triangle Convertible Strap bra to try, which also has a low v-neck shape. All of these pieces are from their True Body line. The line is made out of True & Co’s #1 fabric for smooth and comfortable support. I was interested in trying out this line because the True Body pieces are made to seamlessly blend and disappear under your clothing - almost like second skin!
You can find more details below on each of these pieces. I ended up loving the True Body Triangle Convertible Strap bra out of all the pieces I tried! If you’re interested in trying out True & Co, you can use my referral link to get $15 off your order :)
TRUE & CO PICKS + OUTFIT DETAILS:
True Body V Neck Bra in Dulce:
This is one of True & Co’s bestsellers. I’ve been wearing it for over 2 weeks now and can say that the fabric does retain its stretch, like they claim! The elastic fabric is super soft and comfortable with wire-free, removable pads, and I’m able to easily pull it over my head without any struggle. This bra fits me true to size. For reference, I’m 5’2”, weigh 128 lbs with a 27” waist size and 32C bra size, and fit a size Small. On True & Co’s product page, a size Small is suggested for women with bra sizes 32C-D and 34A-B.
True Body Triangle Convertible Strap in Mink:
This is also one of their best-sellers and runs true to size. This bra is different from the True Body V-Neck Bra as it comes with discreet, convertible straps that provide more versatility. You can wear it like a normal bra or in a racerback style by criss-crossing the straps. It has a similar soft, light fabric like the V-Neck bra, and provides a triangle cut in the front. I rate this bra my favorite out of the three pieces I’ve tried from the True Body line, due to its extreme comfort, cut, and versatility!
Top: True Body Triangle Convertible Strap (mink - gifted by True & Co) | Abercrombie & Fitch plaid shirt (similar here and here)
Bottom: One Teaspoon bandit shorts (similar here, here, and here)
Accessories: H&M over-the-knee socks
True Body Racerback Tank in Black:
This is a 2-in-1 bra and racerback tank. It makes for a great layering piece and what I love about this piece is that it supports your girls without needing to wear a bra! The unlined pads are removable, and the overall material is elastic and form-fitting. I wear a size Small and it is true to size.
Top: True Body Racerback Tank (black - gifted by True & Co) | Zara leather moto jacket
Bottom: Skirt thrifted from Wasteland in SF
Shoes: Enzo Anglioni cuff heeled sandals
Accessories: Cuyana envelope clutch
