Monterey Vibes | Gladiator Sandals & Fringe Accents

Happy Thursday, everyone!

Today's outfit photos were taken in beautiful Monterey, California!

To take advantage of the nice weather there, I packed my fun summer-time clothing pieces to wear. I played with doses of fringe detailing on my halter top, bag, and even the zipper pulls on my vest. But the main highlight of this outfit has to be my black lace-up gladiator sandals!

Besides going down once with family when I was very young, this was the first time that I got to enjoy Monterey in my 20's. I remember hanging out with my parents and sister by the hotel pool and going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but that's about it. This time, I got to cruise the scenic 17-mile drive with my boyfriend and check out The Lone Cypress Tree in Pebble Beach. Standing before this famous tree, which is stop #16 on the 17-mile drive scenic tour, I was amazed to learn that this species only grows in Pebble Beach/Point Lobos and is possibly over 250 years old!

After grabbing dinner at a yummy Mediterranean restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea called Dametra Cafe,  my boyfriend and I ended the day in a state of pure relaxation, enjoying the weather, the white sands and the refreshing waves at Carmel Beach.

I hope you enjoyed today's outfit/travel post - thanks so much for reading!
