My Top 5 Hair Styling Tools

A few weeks ago, I shared my top 6 hair products here on the blog. In today's blog post, I'll be sharing my top 5 hair styling tools of all time!

Top 5 Hair Styling Tools:

1. T3 SinglePass Compact Flat Iron

Ever since I chopped off my hair, I've been using the T3 SinglePass Compact Flat Iron to straighten and style my short hair. This flat iron is the perfect petite size to use on my short strands. It heats up very quickly and even comes with a heat-resistant cap! Unlike many other flat irons, the T3 SinglePass Compact includes an internal microchip that adjusts and maintains even plate temperature for consistent heat, without the damage. I love that it also shuts off automatically in an hour. There was a time when I had forgotten to turn off an older flat iron, and it left my carpet permanently damaged! It was a hard lesson learned not to forget to turn off your heated styling tools. :( I always double check to make sure it's off before leaving the house now. I recommend the T3 SinglePass Compact for those with short hair and/or for those who want to easily style bangs. The portable size adds convenience for taking it to the gym or for when you travel.

2. Drybar 'Full Pint' Medium Round Ceramic Brush

I use the Drybar 'Full Pint' Ceramic Brush when blow-drying my hair to add volume to the roots to give it some bounce. The barrel of this brush is made out of ceramic material, which heats up when you're blow-drying your hair to help with adding volume. The brush bristles help to reduce frizz and to lock in shine. This brush definitely helps me achieve long-lasting salon-quality blowouts!

3. Beachwaver Co. Beachwaver S1 Curling Iron

I love this tool. The Beachwaver S1 Curling Iron is the most technologically advanced hair styling tool I own. This curling iron automatically rotates the barrel for you with its left/right arrow buttons and a fast/slow speed switch. The 'home' button allows you to reset the rod's start position to help you achieve effortless waves. The ceramic barrel also evenly distributes heat for consistent styling. The temperature range is from 290 to 410 degrees, making it suitable for all hair types and textures. It is so easy to use and is at a great price point, I cannot recommend it enough!

4. Conair Teasing Brush

This Conair Teasing Brush helps me take teasing to another level! Before discovering this styling tool, I used a generic rat tail comb to tease the back of my hair. The Conair teasing brush, however, speeds up the process by ten-fold (exaggerating a bit, but you get the picture ;), which is a lifesaver when I'm in a rush to get ready! I recommend using this brush to style/tease fine hair only.

5. Elchim Professional Hair Dryer

My mother, who is a cosmetologist/hair stylist, uses the Elchim Professional Hair Dryer on her salon customers to dry and style their hair. She gifted this to me one Christmas a few years ago, and I've been using it ever since! It is a powerful tried-and-true hair dryer that has shortened my drying time. It has lasted me for years with no signs of wear. Love this hair dryer!
